Easter is on April 5th this year.  Kiawah Island Golf Resort is gearing up to welcome your family to a memorable holiday especially when it comes to unforgettable Easter weekend feasts!

Mingo Oyster

Kiawah’s Easter dining program kicks off on Thursday, April 2nd with our Easter Mingo Point Oyster Roast & BBQ (with a second Mingo on Monday, April 6th).  Both events run from 6-9pm.  These will be the first Oyster Roast & BBQ of the 2015 season.  Guests will enjoy an authentic Lowcountry experience at Kiawah’s most popular family outing including shucking fresh roasted oysters while watching the sun set on the Kiawah River or dance under the moonlight to the sounds of ‘The Island Trio.’ Kids will enjoy a complimentary design-your-own beach bag station and hair braiding. In addition to oysters, the banquet team will offer a number of Southern BBQ specialties; ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, grilled steaks and a bounty of sides including loaded potato skins, salads and an island favorite, mac and cheese.  Kiawah’s Naturalists present local wildlife demonstrations including live gators and other inhabitants of Kiawah. Guests can also peruse some local artisan’s works at our craft market.

Friday, April 3rd features the Sunset Raw Bar at the Ryder Cup Bar. Enjoy a full selection of raw bar specialties…oysters on the half shell, ceviche, stone claws and oyster shooters along with signature cocktails, beer and wine from 5-8pm on the veranda of the Ryder Cup Bar at The Ocean Course Clubhouse to watch the sun set and listen to live jazz.
